The research underscores a growing demand for family-oriented pub experiences across the UK, particularly as families seek venues suitable for Father’s Day pub lunches and other outings. Hungry Horse pubs emphasise features such as play areas and value meal deals to appeal to multi-generational groups.
Caroline La Niece, Head of Brand Marketing at Hungry Horse, commented on the findings: “It’s clear that families are increasingly looking for pubs that offer more than just food and drink. Families are seeking a welcoming space for all generations to relax together. These findings show that the most memorable pubs combine value with entertainment, whether that’s outdoor play areas, beer gardens, nearby attractions, or affordable daily meal deals.”
“What stood out in this data is that Greater London scored 30% on family mentions, which shows how consistently welcoming those venues are. Scotland’s strong showing is also notable, with 3 areas featured in the top 10.”
