CollabGPS Launches CollabCard to Enhance Creator Profiles in Collaboration App

CollabGPS has introduced a new feature called CollabCard, designed to give creators a more structured and customisable way to present themselves and manage collaborations within the app.

CollabCard is a two-sided, customisable creator profile that allows users to showcase who they are, what they create, and how they collaborate. It is designed to improve clarity and efficiency when users connect for creative work. The profile can include tags, social links, trip details, collaboration history, and other personal or professional information. Users can also personalise their card with different themes and colour options. For those who prefer a simpler layout, a standard list view remains available.

The feature is intended to help creators identify suitable collaborators more quickly. Tags allow users to highlight content styles or collaboration preferences, while a feature called Collab Network lets creators display trusted working relationships based on positive past experiences. Together, these tools support CollabGPS’s goal of encouraging more reliable and professional connections within its creator community.

“The CollabCard is my take on what a creator profile should actually do,” said founder Ted Buras. “It gives people more ways to show who they are, what they create and who they’ve worked well with, all in one place. That matters when creators are trying to find the right fit, save time and build real working relationships.”

CollabGPS is positioned as a scheduling and collaboration app for content creators. It allows users to discover collaborators locally or globally, coordinate schedules, share media securely, and manage project planning in one platform. The app also includes tools for trip and shoot scheduling, along with secure chat features designed to keep collaboration discussions organised and professional.

CollabCard forms part of a wider system intended to streamline the creator economy by combining identity, discovery, and project coordination tools in one place. Subscription plans support different levels of access, with the Amateur Plan offering single CollabCard themes, local grid access, and basic scheduling tools. The Pro Plan unlocks multiple themes, trip planning features, access to the Visiting Soon Grid, and additional private albums.

An optional ID verification feature is available on premium plans, displaying a checkmark on the CollabCard to indicate trustworthiness.

The launch reflects broader demand among content creators for more efficient networking tools. Many creators report challenges with inconsistent communication and mismatched collaborations on general social platforms. CollabGPS aims to address this by offering preference-based discovery tools, including curated grids that filter potential collaborators by interests, style, and location.

The platform also emphasises professionalism, with features designed to highlight reliable working relationships and reduce time spent on unproductive connections. CollabGPS continues to position itself as a structured alternative to traditional social messaging, focusing on purpose-driven collaboration rather than general interaction.

Early user feedback highlights the value of having a single profile that combines branding with practical collaboration indicators, helping creators quickly identify compatible partners. The company says it will continue refining the app based on user feedback as demand grows for specialised tools in the creator economy.
