All Points East Tops UK Summer Festivals for Streaming Power, New Study Reveals

Quick summary: A new analysis of Spotify data by festival ticket supplier Skiddle has ranked All Points East as the UK summer festival with the highest performer streaming reach, accumulating over five hundred million monthly listeners across its scheduled 2026 line-up. Industry insights show that a select group of major commercial events dominate the marketplace, with highly concentrated streaming profiles driven by globally recognised headliners and exclusive international artists who rarely appear in the country. This commercial dominance holds notable implications for cultural public policy and consumer well being, emphasizing how the centralisation of global music stars in major urban hubs shapes regional event accessibility while heavily influencing how young music fans spend their leisure time and connect with arts communities.

A new analysis of Spotify data has ranked All Points East as the UK summer festival with the strongest combined streaming reach among its performers.

The study, conducted by festival ticket supplier Skiddle, analysed average monthly listener figures for the top 30 acts at major UK festivals scheduled between June and September 2026. Only festivals with full or substantial line-ups were included. The figures were then combined to produce a ranking based on overall streaming reach.

All Points East takes 1st place with a combined total of 508,973,773 monthly listeners across its announced acts. The festival is held in Victoria Park, London, across the last two weekends of August. Its line-up includes Tyler, The Creator, Jorja Smith, PinkPantheress, and Lorde.

Creamfields follows in 2nd place with 481,794,395 monthly listeners. The electronic dance music festival is held in Daresbury, Cheshire, over the August bank holiday weekend, with acts including Calvin Harris, Sonny Fodera, and Disclosure.

Reading and Leeds Festival ranks 3rd with 396,258,749 monthly listeners. The twin-site festival, also held over the August bank holiday, features Charli XCX, Chase & Status, and Dave.

Isle of Wight Festival is 4th with 247,835,071 monthly listeners. It runs from 18th–21st June and features Tom Grennan, The Cure, and Sex Pistols.

BST Hyde Park is 5th with 213,265,086 monthly listeners. The London concert series runs across 8 dates from 27th June – 12th July and features 1 headline act per day. This year’s line-up includes Garth Brooks, making his first UK appearance since 1998, alongside Maroon 5, Duran Duran, and Pitbull.

Latitude Festival is 6th with 153,475,454 monthly listeners. It takes place in Suffolk from 23rd–26th July and includes David Byrne, Teddy Swims, and Lewis Capaldi.

Boomtown Fair ranks 7th with 150,443,159 monthly listeners. The immersive festival runs in Hampshire from 12th–16th July and features Antony Szmierek, Ashnikko, and Beans on Toast.

Boardmasters is 8th with 126,971,985 monthly listeners. Held in Newquay, Cornwall, over the first weekend of August, the festival includes The Kooks, Lily Allen, and Kasabian.

Download Festival is 9th with 109,393,583 monthly listeners. The rock and metal event takes place at Donington Park from 10th–14th June and features Limp Bizkit, Guns N’ Roses, and Linkin Park.

Camp Bestival completes the top 10 with 67,649,410 monthly listeners. The family festival runs in Dorset from 30th July–2nd August and features Fatboy Slim, Bastille, and Billy Ocean.

Industry analysis

Jamie Scahill, Marketing Director at Skiddle, commented on the findings: “Once again, we’re seeing a clear divide between large-scale commercial festivals and more niche, genre-led events when it comes to streaming power. All Points East leads the way by a significant margin, driven by a line-up packed with globally recognised artists. At the same time, Creamfields and Reading and Leeds demonstrate the strong pull of multi-day mainstream festivals.

“What’s particularly interesting is how dominant a small number of major festivals are at the top of the ranking, with the top 2 festivals both exceeding 480 million combined monthly listeners. This highlights how a handful of globally popular headliners can dramatically shape a festival’s overall reach.”

“Meanwhile, the presence of festivals like Isle of Wight and BST Hyde Park in the top five shows the enduring appeal of legacy events that have successfully evolved their line-ups for modern audiences. BST Hyde Park is quite different to other festivals in the ranking, as it focuses on just one act per day. The fact that a festival with only 8 announced acts can rank higher than festivals with 90-plus acts is reflected in the presence of global superstars who do not often appear in the UK and are extremely hard to secure tickets for.

“Overall, the data shows that festivals with the strongest streaming profiles tend to blend genre diversity with high-profile international acts. It is this combination that appears to drive the highest levels of audience reach in today’s festival culture.”

The study comes as the 2026 festival season approaches, with fans increasingly using streaming data to discover new artists and plan their summers. Spotify monthly listeners were used as one indicator of current popularity and potential audience draw.
